Our new technician is required to perform a variety of fulfillment duties for clients in their homes,and or businesses.
This includes pick up, delivery, installation, and networking with a primary focus on the smart home technology industry.
Company van provided.
This position is not related to the TV, music, or film industry, nor is related to special event's such as setting up stages and or tearing down stages Low voltage integration for homes, businesses:
Non-Smoking Work Environment Must be able to lift heavy objects such as tv's (up to 50
lbs.
) and products into customers' homes with precision and care with or without assistance.
Must be able to climb ladders and work in tight spaces.
Must have basic personal tools and such.
Example- Multi-meter, level, drill, pliers, etc.
Knowledge of Home Control Systems such as Control4, Elan, or RTI.
Show audio & video knowledge by working with new technologies and be able to program settings to make equipment operate correctly.
Must be able to drive to job sites and work under stressful conditions with or without clients and or supervisors.
Have knowledge of Networks and Wi-Fi to connect equipment to the automation system and be able to secure the Network with a WPA2.
(routers, switches, and access points) Be able to determine inputs and outputs into a receiver or home controller and correctly wire channels and paths.
Familiarity with CAT5/CAT6/COAX/XLR cables and end connections to route wires within walls, ceilings, attics, and basements.
Know how to organize and mount wires behind televisions, media racks, and network closets Use critical thinking and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and repair problems Must be able to work outdoors in sometimes extreme heat and cold.
Willing to travel 50% of the year.
Sometimes you will be required to travel hours from home or stay overnight for several days.
Pre-wire (Security, Home Theater, Camera Systems, Control Systems, Audio, and etc.
) Knowledge of Security and Alarm systems is a plus.
Able to work Individually or with a team with or without supervision.
Basic Carpentry/Construction knowledge preferred.
