CTO

3Z Brands is seeking an experienced Chief Technology Officer for its executive leadership team.
The CTO will play a crucial role in driving the strategic vision and all aspects of the organization's information systems strategy, execution and services.
In office role- candidates must live in Arizona or have the ability to relocate.
The CTO drives business capabilities which in turn drive innovation, reusability and efficiency outcomes throughout our company including:
Central Data & Analytics - driving core data and analytics platforms and process company-wide.
Enterprise Architecture - establishing and driving technical and solution architecture standards.
Experience Design- design thinking and UX/UI working knowledge.
Hyper Automation - enterprise level automation for manufacturing Foundational Platforms- reusable developer tools and capabilities such as API's, enterprise solutions, and the DevSecOps toolchain.
Strategy & Operations - Financial and staffing operations for the CTO organization.
Mergers and acquisitions experience.
Excellent communication and storytelling skills (will present to board quarterly) Change Management & Communications - Oversight for various transformation activities underway.
Ability to lead through rapid growth 3Z Brands organization includes 500
employees, various contractors, remote employees and teams in Phoenix and New York.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Planning Build a partnership and collaborate closely with functional area leaders to develop and implement the organizations strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with the companys overall objectives and the overall IT strategy efforts.
Conduct research and analysis to identify emerging trends and technologies that can drive innovation and provide a competitive advantage.
Customer/Market Facing Technology Facilitate and enable future state of 3Zs digital capabilities.
Collaborate with the CDO (Chief Digital Officer) in defining and delivering solutions to the market.
Drive Talent and Product Model Transformation In close coordination with company-wide IT initiatives, align the tech organization's roadmap with the company's business strategy & the company-wide IT transformation Strategy.
Recruit, motivate, develop and retain a high-performance team.
Constantly evaluate the cost/ratio of employees versus outside services.
Lead a flexible, responsive, systems organization that has a high sense of urgency, customer focus and a keen eye on the business' bottom line.
Financial Management Ownership of the technology budget, working closely with the COO to allocate resources effectively and prioritize investments in alignment with business objectives.
Monitor expenditures and provide regular financial reports to the CFO and executive leadership.
Manage IT capital and expense budgets, continually optimizing costs to improve the ratio of dollars going toward investment rather than maintenance.
Identify and deliver on efficiency and cost saving opportunities.
Technology Management Oversee the company's e-commerce application, infrastructure and overall technology portfolio to reflect a more flexible architecture and platform, allowing the company to add new capabilities seamlessly with flexible cost structures.
Cybersecurity Monitor, Adapt, and Maintain a Strong, Secure, and overall IT control environment that is responsive to the risks across all aspects of technology.
Establish and manage a cyber-security perimeter and disaster recovery planning for the organization; Collaborate with Risk Management, Legal, and other parties to achieve an acceptable enterprise risk profile.
Performance Management Oversee key business initiatives and associated management processes and frameworks, ensuring we are executing tech requirements across the business.
Provide guidance and support to project teams, monitoring progress, and addressing any obstacles or risks that may arise.
More importantly surface and drive improvements from the unique vantage point of seeing across all areas of the business.
Communication and Change Management Prepare and deliver the CTO messaging strategy within the organization, including high-quality presentations, reports, and communications for the board.
Provide insights and updates to leadership team and overall organization.
Fully leverage communications forums and platforms including Town Halls, slack, LinkedIn information, etc.
Also lead change management efforts, taking advantage of our current change agent network that is in place but also innovate and take our change management to the next level.
Develop and maintain effective communication channels to enhance transparency and information sharing across business divisions.
Stakeholder Management Serve as a trusted advisor maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between technology team and other departments to drive cross-functional initiatives.
Develop and operate key KPI's Reports, and Operational reviews with leadership, IT staff and other key stakeholders.
Innovation Monitor external technology changes and be a source of continuous innovation, developing new technology-enabled products (and access), which will effectively differentiate the firm from the competition.
Vendor Management select vendors/partners to enable and sustain 3Z digital platforms.
Establish agreements, SOW's and SLA that correspond to 3Z requirements.
Required Skills Relationship Building and Stakeholder Management, a critical key to success will be the ability to build collaborative working relationships across leaders.
Within the team this will be key to keeping the team aligned to the organization's strategic objectives.
This role will be able to significantly influence our production capability as a strategic partner manufacturing.
Requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Demonstrated experience in influencing and collaborating with senior executives and cross-functional teams.
Organizational Vision and Alignment Focus on the optimal organization for the company.
That is, some existing teams will move to report to this role, as well as other possible changes dependent on business needs.
Leadership and Strategic Thinking Proven ability to think strategically and provide leadership in a complex and fast-paced environment.
Strong decision-making skills with the capacity to prioritize effectively and drive initiatives to successful completion.
Influencer of key strategic direction setting efforts including weighing in on our production capability, tech strategy, and overall Enterprise Architecture thoughts.
Financial Acumen Demonstrated experience in budget management and financial analysis, with the ability to effectively provide forward looking and historical assessment of dollars and resources and make data-driven decisions to maximize return on investment.
Focus on effective and accurate forecasting and effective budget management.
Ability to Learn Necessary Technology Detail Rapidly While less of a hands-on technology role, working and basic knowledge of technologies in play within the organization will be a necessity.
It is critical that the CTO head of operations speaks a language that both the business and IT partners can understand, while communicating technical details and why they are important.
Operational Excellence Experience in optimizing operational processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Ability to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions for the tech organization that drive operational excellence.
Essential Qualifications Technology Team Leadership:
Previous CIO, CTO or SVP of IT leadership experience at a corporate level is required.
Management breadth and depth is highly desirable.
Industry
Experience:
Experience in an online retail, consumer products, supply chain or a logistics based business.
Direct experience leading IT teams in industries with intensive online retail, consumer products, supply chain and logistics.
Continuous Improvement:
Data driven continuous improvement experience providing insight and advice on Business Process Improvement approaches to strategic business challenges.
Six sigma certification desirable.
Technology Transformation:
Prior Hands-on experience in a significant IT transformation.
Experience implementing a cloud-based application and infrastructure solutions.
Fluent with SaaS, cloud, and multi-tenant service offerings as well as previous experience with platform consolidation.
Mergers and Acquisition:
Experienced in IT diligence, financial review and integration of businesses.
Technical:
Depth in project management, application development, operations, infrastructure, cybersecurity is desired and the ability to assess technical requirements and make architecture decisions for a growing business is required.
Communication and Influencer:
Effective leader communicating and influencing business leadership, IT teams, end user/overall organization and vendor partners.
Team Builder:
Attract, develop and retain outstanding technical professionals.
Constantly evaluate teams to make sure they have necessary skills.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
